Taqueria Arbol Del Tule: Authentic Mexican Delights in Rowland Heights

Lot of decent taco places every where, but this place has been my go to for years because they are consistently great food. I drive from the OC here as the taste is truly rare. You know the great taco spots all serve "Suadero", if they dont then you might need a change. I am simple, usually order their suadero tacos but their other plates are just as good. Their saudero is juicy and packs so much flavor,

A must try. Had tried plenty of street tacos & taco trucks around the area, but this establishment is even more legit. Drove by here a million times, they’ve been here forever, but never caught my eyes until someone posted a photo/video of grasshoppers served here! Exotic item not published on the menu anywhere, but all the locals and regulars know to ask for it! Tacos are $2.49, very fairly priced for the area. I tried carne asada (beef), cabeza (head), and tripas (small intestines) for my tacos and I loved them all. The quality and flavor is on the top of my 5-star list. $8.50 for like a 12 ~14 oz container size full of grasshoppers. They gave me 5 pieces to sample since I was so curious. It smells and tastes like crunchy yet chewy beef jerky, and makes an interesting snack. I’m definitely returning here for more tacos and grasshoppers. Adding to my list of favorite places to dine. They’re open daily from around 8 am to 8 pm or 9 pm. The closure time is a little early for this area since a ton of Asian restaurants are still open at that hour. They are also located in a slightly isolated small plaza along Fullerton so not as busy as compared to Colima Rd. But I’d gladly drive the extra few minutes for the quality food.

Best tacos everrrr!!! No joke Ordered asada quesadilla and some tamales to go for dinner and I’m so happy I did cause they both were delish!! Also excited there’s another spot in Anaheim

Taqueria Arbol del Tule Isa hidden gem. Best tlayudas in town. The champurrado is thick and chocolaty. Fast friendly service. Plenty of parking.

Nice to see a Mexican restaurant in a predominantly Asian city. Staff was very nice and got my order fairly quick. The tacos were not bad, but sort of lacking in flavor depth. I also ordered a horchata and it wasn't overly sweet which was nice. Only thing about it was that the drink was still a bit grainy from the ground rice or cinnamon. Not too big of an issue and I'm guessing some people like that. Decent amount of parking spaces. They do charge a bit extra if you pay by card. The roasted peanuts were good. $3.50 a bag.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. This place was clean and it was outdoor seating. We grabbed a paper menu which was great to have. We ordered tacos asada, al pastor and chorizo. We also ordered birria, chilaquiles con carne and a quesadilla with flor de calabaza. Service was fast, friendly and delicious. The tacos were delicious and the quesadilla was the best. Super cheesy and flavorful because of the flor de calabaza. If you're looking for a quick bite definitely stop here. I don't have more pictures of the food since my phone died.

I just went here today and got two Carnitas tacos and a Pollo chicken taco. For three tacos he was under five dollars and there was a good amount of meat in each taco. What makes this place different From other taco places is that You can tell that they marinate their meats very well. The meat was so soft and tender and not all dried up like other places. The customer service was excellent As they were really Finley and kind. The gentleman at the cashier gave me two different hot sauces to try one green and one red and they were both great. The red one spicy but not too spicy. They made the tacos very fast and did not compromise on the freshness. There’s plenty of parking and they have an outdoor seating area but it’s not available right now due to Covid. They practice social distancing guidelines very well and their establishment is very clean as you can see the A that They got from the health department. I’m definitely coming back again try other items. Thanks for tasty tacos and a great first time experience five stars for sure
